Neck Pain
Neck pain is one of the leading causes of pain disability in the United States of America. More than half of the population has reported to have had neck pain at one point in their lives. It is usually the result of a motor vehicle accident or sporting event. Neck pain with symptoms of numbness and weakness in the arms or legs may necessitate an immediate surgical consultation. Management of acute neck pain depends on the degree of presenting symptoms. Common causes of neck pain can be muscle injury, ligament injury, disc herniation, vertebral bone fracture, and joint injury.
