Arthritis Pain
Arthritis is defined as inflammation in the joint which cause pain. According to the American College of Rheumatology, arthritis is the leading cause of disability in people over the age of 55. The most common form of arthritis is osteoarthritis, which is also known as degenerative joint disease, commonly occuring after trauma to the joint, but may simply be the result of aging. Arthritis may be primary or secondary, and etiologies may be derived from an infection, inflammation, autoimmune (the body is attacking itself), or cancer.
